How Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra Works:
Calcium works by strengthening plants’ cell walls, while also greatly enhancing the movement of nutrients through different areas of the plant, helping to ensure that nutrients are delivered to your plants as efficiently as possible and increasing their effectiveness. The combined effect of these actions is an all-round increase in robustness, improving your plants’ ability to cope with stressful situations, while triggering a noticeable improvement in overall vigour, with thicker stems and stronger branches.
Magnesium forms part of the chemical structure of chlorophyll, the compound that gives plants their green colour. This compound also plays the leading role in the process of photosynthesis, capturing the light energy from your grow lamp (or the sun) which gets used to create plant sugars from carbon dioxide in the air and water from the roots.
Sensi Cal-Mag also provides 20 L-form amino acids. Amino acids are the essential building blocks of proteins, and of all life. These amino acids have an abundance of different roles here are just a couple of them:
L-tryptophan – helps to boost levels of a natural growth hormone called indole acetic acid, for larger flowers and increased potency.
L-Cysteine – increases levels of glutathione, a natural antioxidant that’s as essential to plants as it is to humans, helping to deal with environmental stresses.
How to use Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra:
Add Sensi Cal-Mag to your regular feed at a rate of 2ml per litre. Do this no more than once a week. Sensi Cal-Mag can be used right the way through both the veg and flower cycle.
Sensi Cal-Mag can also be used as a foliar feed. Add it to the water in your spray gun at a rate of 2ml per litre and spray no more than once per week.
As with all nutrients, boosters and additives, never mix them together in their concentrated form (i.e. straight from the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your reservoir water or feed water in turn, giving the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one.
Advanced Nutrients recommended dosage rates are only for vigorously growing plants that in the peak of health. Slower growing plants and those that are not 100% healthy will require a lower dosage rate.
