Description

The standard systems can be supplies with or without Slanted draining stands. The stands provide a platform for the Outer Pot to sit on. The stand raises your pots and has a sloped surface to help the nutrient solution to drain back to the reservoir. The system works perfectly well without the draining stands but they come in very handy for getting over small obstacles such as tent poles etc.

The System is very easy to set up and can be laid out to fit any space. Pots can be removed or added very easily allowing you to extending the system at a later date.

  • Most advanced brain controller on the market
  • 9L Inners and 9L Outers
  • 6 – 60 Pots can be used with a single brain controller
  • Highly oxygenated root system fro rapid growth
  • Bigger bore pipe for quicker flood and drain cycles
  • Very easy to set up
  • Can be laid out to suit any size and shape growing area
  • Designed and built here in the UK

The V3R digital brain controller features a custom built microprocessor for ultimate control over the duration and frequency of flood and drain cycles. The V3R digital brain controller can be set to perform up to six flood and drain cycles a day or as little as one per week. Flood duration times can be controlled to the minuet so the moment the system is fully flooded the draining process can begin. All of these features allow you, the grower, to decide exactly how often and how long you flood your system for, making it suitable for almost any growing medium to be used. This is particularly useful when growing in the recommended clay pebble and coco peat mix, as when you first plant out, the growing medium may hold too much moisture for small seedlings or clones, so feeding every two or three days for the first  8-10 days will encourage the plant to produce a more vigorous and beneficial root system, allowing for greater nutrient uptake.

How the system works:
The pots are made up of two parts: An outer pot which has a water tight gland through which the nutrient solution is delivered and a separate inner pot which has holes in the base, allowing the flood and drain action. The delivery pipe connects the outer pots to the brain tank. When the nutrient solution has fully flooded the system, the brain controller will will trigger the feed pump to stop. Flood times are controlled by a wall mounted digital brain timer. The time should be set to match the time it takes the system to flood, this will depend on the size of the system. The system then works in reverse, sucking out all of the nutrient from the base of the pots leaving the roots moistened.
